Â
The Mustangs opened this second quarter notably more powerful defensively, off the heels of several impressive steals and increased pressure to end the first quarter.Â
Western is appearing much more calm and in control of this game, not making rushed choices and remaining smart in their shot attempts extending their lead up to 16 points by the midway mark of the quarter.

Â
Western built themselves a massive lead as the midway mark of the third quarter passed, going up by 33 points, shooting at 45.5% from the field, while holding Laurentian down to 20.5%.
