London, ON - The Mustangs Men's Soccer team had their biggest offensive outburst of the season, taking a 5-0 win over Windsor on Sunday.
The match started off with a goal from Panos Tzanetakis at 14:50. This would be followed up by a penalty shot goal in the 36th minutes by Charlie Bontis scored a penalty shot. Western would hold the 2-0 win through the end of the 1st half.
The second half of the match was highlighted by a natural hat trick by Luc Coloumbe. This included goals in the 49th minute, 53rd minute & 70th minute.
Coloumbe is "feeling optimistic, and this is a game that we really needed and hopefully we can take that and keep going." The team was able to play defensively, making the game a shutout game.
Acting Head Coach Mark Haynes said, "The team had a very strong performance, and are looking forward to the next test."
