London, ON - The game started out with a even pace but some physicality progressed as the game went one, which led to a couple of fouls and free kick attempts for the Lancers. The Mustangs then hit it off with a nice play by Callum Yuile to open the scoring inn the 34th minute to make it 1-0, that scored held through halftime. 

To start the second half, the Mustangs had a killer shot by Alex West in the 46th minute, his first point of the season, making it 2-0. Western scored again on a header by Stefano Pellicioni to make it 3-0 in the 57th minute. This was also his first point of the season. With just over 5 minutes left, Western got another first goal of the season by Jake Scholte to make it 4-0. Everyone seemed to put in their all for this last game, Panos Tzanetakis would finish out the scoring just before injury time to round out the 5-0 win.

"At this level in the OUA every little detail matters, every team is going to give you a good run. We just got to get ready to go next year." said Mustangs Head Coach Martin Painter.

Western finishes the 2025 season with a 4-7-1 record and finish 7th in the division and miss the playoffs.
