Although this season may not have ended the way the team would have wanted, the Western community is purple and proud of our women's basketball team for their amazing season. With a couple of new faces and veteran leadership, the team quickly gelled and it showed on the court. The Mustangs season is highlighted by their impressive 8-game win streak, and their unity on the court. As many as 7 players and coaching staff will be moving on after this season and their knowledge and wisdom shared with this young core will only make the team stronger and better in the future. Thank you to everyone who made this season a success!
