Mustangs Fall 3-0 against to Brock in a Physical Battle

London, ON – The Mustangs looked to carry their momentum from last night's game as they faced off against Brock at Thompson Arena but fell 3-0 in a fast-paced and physical matchup. 

The Mustangs came out with high energy, aimed to keep up their momentum from the previous game. Five minutes into the game, Brock earned their first power-play opportunity. Both teams played at a fast pace, eager to get the opening goal of the period. 

Midway through the period, Western took their second penalty, giving Brock another power play. However, during the power play, Brock also took a penalty, leading to a 4-on-4 situation. During the 4-on-4 play, Brock struck first, opening the scoring and taking an early lead. 

With three minutes left in the period, Western went on the power play after a penalty call against Brock. However, history repeated itself as Western took a penalty during their power play, resulting in another 4-on-4 situation. Brock capitalized once again on the 4-on-4 play, doubling their lead to 2-0. 

Brock played a physical game, battling for the puck aggressively. The period ended with Brock leading 2-0. 

The second period, Brock continued their physical play in the second period. At the 7:10 mark, Western took another penalty, putting Brock back on the power play. A second penalty against Western during Brock's power play led to a challenging 5-on-3 situation. 

With two minutes left in the period, Brock found the back of the net once again, extending their lead to 3-0. 

The Mustangs started the third period continuing their power play from the previous period. 

Some physical moment in the game were saw in the period. Midway through the period, Western earned back-to-back power plays but couldn't break through Brock's defense. 

The Mustangs were unable to find the back of the net, and the game ended in a 3-0 loss. 

Next Game: The Mustangs will play again on Friday to take on the Queens at 7:00 p.m.
