Kingston, ON – The Mustangs Ringette team is bringing home a silver medal from the 2026 Provincial Championships.

Western finished the tournament with a hard-fought 4-3 loss to Ottawa. Alivia Kuehner had two goals in the gold medal game for Western.

The Mustangs were 5-2 for the weekend with wins over McMaster (7-4), Guelph (3-2), Nipissing (5-2), Waterloo (7-0) & Queens (9-2 Semi-Final). The two Western losses came at the hands of Ottawa (5-3 in round robin and 4-3 in the finals).

Sage Snethun led the tournament in scoring with 5 goals and 10 assists over the Mustangs 7 games played. Kuehner was 2^nd in scoring with 12 points and Kiana Fraser was 3^rd with 7 goals and 4 assists
