London, ON - Homecoming is one of the biggest weekends of the year at Western, and from September 25–27, 2026 the Western Mustangs will welcome students, alumni, families, friends and fans back for a weekend filled with varsity sport, alumni celebrations and opportunities to reconnect with the Purple and White.
From Friday night soccer and rugby to Saturday's Homecoming Football Game and alumni events throughout the weekend, there are plenty of ways to be part of Homecoming 2026.
Mustangs HOCO Home Games & Events
There is a full lineup of Mustangs action happening in London throughout Homecoming Weekend.
With the exception of the Homecoming Football Game, Mustangs home games taking place over Homecoming Weekend are free for the general public. Current Western students receive free admission to all Mustangs regular season home games with a valid Western ONECard.

One of the biggest events of Homecoming Weekend returns Saturday afternoon as the Mustangs take on the McMaster Marauders at Western Alumni Stadium.
Tickets are expected to sell out for Homecoming 2026, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. Current Western students receive free admission to Fan Fest and the game through the East Gates with a valid Western ONECard. Western Alumni Stadium Gates open for Fan Fest at 11 a.m.
West Gates open at 11:30 a.m. for season ticket holders and general ticket holders.

Celebrating Our Mustangs Alumni
Homecoming is also an opportunity to celebrate the generations of Mustangs who have helped build Western's proud sport traditions.

Western Mustangs Sports Hall of Fame Dinner
The Western Mustangs Sports Hall of Fame Dinner is one of the signature events of Homecoming Weekend, bringing together Mustangs alumni, coaches, supporters and members of the Western community to celebrate individuals and teams who have made an outstanding contribution to Western sport.
The evening recognizes the newest members of the Western Mustangs Sports Hall of Fame and celebrates their achievements and lasting impact on the Purple and White.

Alumni Football at the Mustangs Corral
Mustangs Football alumni can reconnect before the Homecoming Football Game at the Mustangs Corral.
The event provides an opportunity to catch up with former teammates, coaches and members of the Mustangs Football community before Western takes on McMaster at Western Alumni Stadium.
Please note that registration for Alumni Football at the Mustangs Corral does not include admission to the Homecoming Football Game. A separate football game ticket is required.

Western Softball 25th Reunion Weekend
Western Softball is celebrating 25 years with a special reunion during Homecoming Weekend.
Alumni are invited to reconnect with former teammates and coaches, celebrate the history of the program and cheer on the current Mustangs throughout a weekend that includes home games against McMaster, Guelph and Windsor.
