Mustangs Graphic Designer Job Description

As a Mustangs Graphic Designer, students will gain first-hand knowledge with graphic design programs and practices as well as having a hand in projects that will be used to support athletics and the athletes here at Western. The Mustangs Graphic Designer is responsible for creating a wide variety of projects supporting both Mustangs Athletics and Campus Recreation. This includes everything from posters, social media graphics, brochures, banners, and game day programs among other items. Students will work out of the Mustangs Communications Office in the Western Student Recreation Centre.   

Required Qualifications

·       In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is required
·       Experience working with Adobe InDesign would be considered an asset, but is not required
·       Experience working with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects would be considered an asset, but is not required
·       Strong communication skills
·       Must possess strong attention to detail
·       Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 

Required Availability

Typically 8-16 hours per week. Work will primarily be done during typical office hours, with flexibility depending on class schedules.
