What: Guelph Gryphons vs. Mustangs Men’s Hockey

What is “FACEOFF AT THE FORKS”:
The Faceoff at the Forks is the return of Mustangs hockey to downtown London at Bud Gardens. The name gains its inspiration from the Thames River that runs through Western’s Campus and London’s downtown. Hosted at Budweiser Gardens, located just steps away from the Forks of the Thames, this event is a celebration of 100 years of Mustangs hockey, which itself was fittingly born out of shinny games on the frozen Thames River. The Faceoff at the Forks is an opportunity to bring all of our students, alumni, and Western faculty together with the London community for a fun night in downtown London. Additionally, having this game take place off campus at Bud Gardens and in the heart of the community is an important step for Western Athletics in helping further cultivate and richen the connection between the University community and the City of London.
TICKET PRICES:
Adult: $15/$20
Student*/Youth**: $10/$15
*Student tickets can be purchased by any student (Western, Fanshawe, Highschool, etc)
**(Youth is 12 and under)

In 2005 against Lakehead, the Mustangs set a then OUA and USPORTS attendance record for a Men’s Hockey game. We hope to see some of the same passion in 2020 for the Faceoff at the Forks!
