    Defensive Backs Coach, Football
Kwame Aidoo continues to serve as the Western Mustangs’ defensive back coach since 2020.
Playing at cornerback, Kwame Aidoo was a cornerstone on a stingy Marauder defense that won four consecutive Yates Cup championships from 2000-2003. A starter for all five of his years in maroon, Aidoo was McMaster's Rookie of the Year after being named an OUA First Team All-Star in 2000. A fierce competitor and shutdown defender, he was named an OUA all-star on three more occasions, and was a CIS All-Canadian in 2002. A quiet leader who let his play speak for him, Kwame was the 2004 co-recipient of the Coaches' Award for perseverance and leadership. He was named a member of McMaster's Team of the Decade for 2000-09.

He graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and helped coach the defensive backs at McMaster prior to attending Teachers College at the University of Windsor.

He is currently a Guidance Counsellor and Family Studies Teacher at Mother Teresa Catholic School and is the Head Coach of Jr. Football, Junior Boys Basketball and Girls Soccer.

He resides in London with his wife Dr. Sarah Knowles and their two kids, Marcus and Mia.
