2015-16: Regular season: Played in 57 sets across 19 games to record 9.40 assists per set, 1.46 digs per set, and .33 blocks per set... Recorded 31 points throughout the season, to average .55 per set... Playoffs: Played in all four sets of the post season to record 32 assists, one ace, and two assisted blocks...
2014-15: Joined Mustangs from Winnipeg 204… Regular Season: Played in 43 sets across 16 matches, recording an average of 8.05 assists per set, and 0.98 digs per set … Playoffs: Played in five sets during one match, recording an average of 8 assists per set, 1.2 digs per set, and 0.20 blocks per set… Hooker was also awarded a place on the 2014-15 OUA All-Rookie Team.

Personal: Matt Hooker comes to Western from Winnipeg's 204 Volleyball Club and St. Paul's High School. The 6'2" setter had a successful 2013-14 season, capturing a provincial beach volleyball championship with St. Paul's and took provincial gold with the 204 club. Along with his team success, Hooker was named a provincial all-star at both the club and high school levels, and was recently named Volleyball Manitoba's 18U Male Player of the Year.
