Western Mustangs Sports

Beckie is a dynamic guard with the ability to take the ball to the basket as well as knock down perimeter jumpers.  This combo guard will see valuable floor time in her sophomore year for the Mustangs.  Beckie was a member of the Ontario Development Team last summer and was named the MVP of the 2008 Juvenile Championships, where her team won the Gold medal.

As a Freshman:
Beckie had an impressive rookie season with the Mustangs, and was named to the OUA West All-Rookie Team.  She averaged 8.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. She led all rookies in minutes, averaging a commanding 24.4 minutes per game, and shot a solid 34% from behind the arc and 40% from the field.

At Oakridge:
Beckie was a key figure in the Oakridge program over her career.  The multiple MVP winner was also an honour role student. 

Personal:
Daughter of Julie Timewell and Peter Williams.  Has a stepfather Steve and a stepmother Angie.  Has two brothers, Nicholas and Christopher and a sister Rachel. .
