2015-16: Regular season: Saw action in 23 sets over 11 games to record two kills, one block, and one service ace for four points... Playoffs: Saw action in one set...

2014-15: Regular Season: Played in 21 sets across 9 matches to record one kill, one service ace, and 20 digs… Playoffs: Played in three sets within one match.

2013-14: Joined the team from St. Anne's Catholic High School… Saw action in 16 sets for the Mustangs as a serving specialist, libero as well as defensive specialist..Had a season high 12 digs in a match vs. Windsor (Nov. 15).

Personal: Full name is Alana Marie Gyemi, daughter of Alex and Diane Gyemi of Tecumseh, ON. Father Alex competed in football for the Windsor Lancers, and was later inducted into the Hall of Fame for the Northern Football Conference. He currently is an OUA Football official. Mother competed in basketball for the Windsor Lancers. Gyemi attended St. Anne’s Catholic High School and competed in volleyball, basketball and badminton. Named MVP of volleyball and badminton teams in 2012 and 2013. A high achiever on the court and in the classroom, she won the proficiency award in grades 9-11 and was an honor roll student in grade 12, as well as being honoured with citizenship and leadership awards her graduating year. Competed for the South County Bandits and was a team captain in multiple seasons.
