Biography

Personal: Full name is Julia Tomczak, daughter of Clearley and Peter Tomczak of Toronto, ON. She is a graduate of Etobicoke Collegiate where she captained the volleyball team and was a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team. An active student involved as an executive member of the Leadership and Athletic Councils, she was ranked in the top 1% academically in her high school class an incredible four years in a row. Tomczak finished her club volleyball career competing with the Toronto Diamonds Volleyball Club, and as co-captain in 2013 earned an OVA Provincial Bronze medal as well as a second place finish at the 18U Canadian National Championships.
