2014-15: Regular Season: Played in 79 sets across 19 matches to record 155 kills, 20 service aces, 147 digs, and eight blocks to total 180 points… Playoffs: Saw the court in all 13 sets across three games to record 28 kills, one service ace, 29 digs, and five blocks for 32 points.
2013-14: Named a CIS Academic All-Canadian… Also earned a Bronze ‘W’… saw action in 57 of 75 sets in the starting left-side position… Led the team in service aces with 28 on the season, and finished 4
th on the team in total kills with 103 and 3
rd on the team in total attempts with 380… Hit season highs of kills with 15 vs. Windsor (Nov. 15), digs with 15 vs. Toronto (Jan. 26).
2012-13: Played in 46 sets...Recorded 15 service aces on the season along with 46 kills...
2011-12: Joined the Mustangs from Brock Volleyball Club...
Personal: Full name is Serena Smith, daughter of Jacqueline Wright and Steven Smith of Caledonia, ON. Attended Acadèmie Catholique Mére-Teresa and was named the Hamilton Spectator Athlete of the Year. She was an honor roll student for all four years of high school and completed her prep volleyball career competing for both the Brock Volleyball Club and the Mountain Volleyball Club.
