David-Lee Tracey

David-Lee Tracey is the head coach of the successful Western Mustangs cheerleading squad.

Entering the 2018-19 season, the Mustangs cheerleading squad has won an unprecedented 32 National Co-Ed Cheerleading Championships, winning every National Championship since its inception in 1985, with 2007 as the lone exception. Last season saw them sweep both the All-Girl and Large Co-Ed titles.

In their national victory in 2012, the Mustangs won the championship with 452 points, which was the highest two-day total of any of the forty teams that competed. In 2016 the Western All-Girl cheerleading team claimed their first National championship title, and in 2014, the squad brought home first place at the The Coastal Cheer - Battle at the Capitol National Championships in National Harbour, Maryland. The team also won the title in the Elite Division 1 All-Girl Collegiate Cheer category in what was their first time traveling to the United States to compete under the Western banner.
