Coaching & Professional Experience:
  • Head Coach of the Western Mustangs Cheerleading program since 1979.
  • Has led the Mustangs to 38 Power Cheerleading Athletics (PCA) National Championships, including championships in 2024–25 and 2025–26.
  • Guided the program to 32 consecutive national championships from 1985 through 2006 and has won all but one national championship since the competition's inception.
  • Led the Mustangs to both the All-Girl and Large Co-Ed national championships in 2017–18.
  • Guided the Western All-Girl team to its first national championship in 2016.
  • Led the Mustangs to the Elite Division I All-Girl Collegiate Cheer title at the Battle at the Capitol National Championships in National Harbor, Maryland, in 2014, the program's first competition in the United States under the Western banner.
  • Named the International Cheer Union International Coach of the Year in 2023.
  • Inducted into the London Sports Hall of Fame in 2022.
  • Creator of J.W., the official Western Mustangs mascot introduced in 1984.
