Devin is the Head Coach of the Western Mustangs Ultimate Frisbee program and a long-time leader in the Canadian ultimate community. A founding member of the original Western Ultimate team in the mid-1990s, Devin first coached the Mustangs from the late 1990s through 2005 and later returned to guide the program into its current varsity era.
Devin has been playing ultimate since the early 1990s and is a founding member of the London Ultimate Club. As a player, he competed at numerous Canadian National Championships, including at the elite Open level in the early-to-mid 2000s with some of the top Canadian teams of the time.
In addition to his ultimate experience, Devin has also coached soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, bringing a broad, multi-sport perspective to his approach. His coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, strategic awareness, and accountability, while fostering a supportive and competitive team culture.
With decades of involvement as a player, coach, and community builder, Devin continues to help Western athletes excel on the field and contribute to the wider ultimate community.
