Experiences:
  • Montreal native whose passion for swimming began through his own Olympic career.
  • Competed for Canada at the 1976 Olympic Games.
  • Served as a coach with Canada's National Swim Team, participating in three Olympic Games, including 1992 and 2008.
  • Head Coach of the London Aquatic Club for 24 years before joining Western University in September 2002.
  • Guided the women's swimming team to five consecutive OUA championships from 2008–09 to 2012–13, with the exception of the 2010–11 season when no championship was awarded.
  • Has coached athletes who have broken numerous national records.
  • Named OUA Coach of the Year eight times (six women's awards and two men's awards).
  • Resides in London, Ontario, with his wife, Gloria, and their four children.
  • Has dedicated his career to developing student-athletes and advancing the sport of swimming at both the national and international levels.
