  • Montreal native with a passion for swimming developed from his own Olympic participation.
  • Competed in the 1976 Olympics as a swimmer.
  • Coached Canada’s national swim team, participating in the Olympics three times (1992, 2008, and others not specified).
  • Head coach of the London Aquatic Club for 24 years before joining Western in September 2002.
  • Guided the women’s swim team to OUA championships for five consecutive years (2008-2009 to 2012-2013), with the exception of the 2010-2011 season when no awards were given.
  • Athletes under his coaching have broken numerous national records.
  • OUA Coach of the Year eight times (6 Women and 2 Men).
  • Resides in London, Ontario, with his wife Gloria of 39 years and four children.
