Johnson, a second year King’s College student from Caledonia, Ontario, helped the Mustangs extend their winning streak to 32 games with a pair of victories over McGill and Toronto on Sunday. Johnson led all Western scorers with eight goals and two assists on the weekend, including scoring five goals in the Mustangs 14-11 win over the Varsity Blues.

“Tawnie had an outstanding opening weekend and is a great leader on and off the field. She is a big part of a strong Western offence and she showed great shooting prowess on Sunday,” said Mustangs head coach David Hastings.
