Rabalski, a third-year Graduate Studies student, helped the Mustangs bring home the 26th OUA Men’s Rowing Championship in school history on Sunday. The Guelph native completed the rare feat of winning gold in both the heavyweight men’s single and heavyweight men’s eight to help lead Western to the title.
 
“Adam Rabalski combines studying and rowing on the highest level,” said Mustangs head coach Volker Nolte. “He is currently working on his PhD while maintaining top training that is aimed to one day secure him a place on the National Team. It is a huge challenge to row well in the single, as well as in the eight and Adam succeeds in this challenge brilliantly. He won the single against highly rated individuals and put his full power into the eight a short time later to win his second gold at the OUA Championships.”
