Takahashi, a Kinesiology student from London, won the bronze medal at the Brazil Cup in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, defeating Chile’s Andres Quispe in the bronze medal match. Takahashi competed at the event in the 57 kg weight class as a member of the Canadian national team.
