MALE: Geoff Killing, Defenceman (Men's Hockey, Second Year, Engineering, Embro, Ont.)

Sophomore defenceman Geoff Killing assisted on Western's go-ahead second goal and scored the game-winner to lift Western to a 3-2 overtime win against the Windsor Lancers to extend the Mustangs winning streak to 14 games. Killing was also effective in his own zone, knocking opposing defenders off the puck and limiting the Lancers offence to just 27 shots on goal. The Embro, Ont., native and former Belleville Bull is second in the OUA in goals by a defenceman and tied for 9th in points by a defenceman. He has already notched 12 points on the season, surpassing his 2008-09 total of nine points in his freshman season.
