LONDON, Ont. - Dan Mendonca made four saves to lift the Windsor Lancers to 1-0 shutout win over Western on Oct. 7 at TD Waterhouse Stadium.
Ryan Wise broke the scoreless tie in the 82nd minute to give the Lancers the game's only goal.
Kosta Viglatzis (Toronto) made four saves for Western in the loss in a game featuring four yellow cards.
With the victory, Windsor remains in first place in the OUA West at 5-1-3, while Western falls to 3-4-2, in sixth place in the division.
The two teams face each other again Oct. 14 in Windsor at 8:15 p.m.
