LONDON, Ont. - First-half goals from Eric Amato and Mark Pocrnic lifted the Western Mustangs to a 2-1 win over the Brock Badgers on Sept. 26 at the Hellenic Club.
Substitue Adrian Cammolli scored Brock's only goal in the dying seconds.
On Sept. 27, Western couldn't catch a break and dropped a 1-0 decision to the McMaster Marauders, who scored on a funny bounce off a corner kick in the 81st minute, finished by Pat Stewart who was standing in the right place at the right time.
The Mustangs are now 2-3-1 in fifth place in the OUA West, and will play seventh place Laurier on Oct. 3 at 3:15 p.m. and then second-place Waterloo on Oct. 4 at 3:15 p.m. on the road.
