LONDON, Ont. - The Western Mustangs women's volleyball team has a tough task ahead of them this weekend if they want to stay at close to the top of the OUA standings.
The women face the Ryerson Rams on Saturday Jan 23 at 1 p.m. and then play the following day, Sunday Jan. 24 also at 1 p.m. against the York Lions. Both games are at home at Alumni Hall.
The Mustangs are 8-4 in OUA play and tied for fourth place in the OUA West with the Guelph Gryphons. York is currently second place in the OUA west at 7-4 and Ryerson is is 5-7 and in fourth place.
Western looks to build on their straight set sweep of Lakehead on Jan. 15 and mount a winning streak to secure a home playoff game. The Mustangs have no home games after the end of January so now is the time to come out and support the Mustangs on their road to the playoffs.
Admission to both games is free for students with their Student ID card.
