Amanda Anderson closing in on No. 3, No. 2 in OUA career scoring

LONDON, Ont. - Western Mustangs women's basketball point guard Amanda Anderson (Chatham, Ont.) is moving her way through the OUA record books.

Earlier this season, moved into the No. 4 spot in OUA career scoring, passing York's Laura MacCallum (1,448 pts) and has her sights set on catching RMC's Jennifer Donofrio (1,602), in third place in OUA career scoring, and Brock's Jodie Ebeling (1,624), in second place in OUA career scoring.

Anderson enters the Wednesday Feb. 10 contest against McMaster with 1,548 career points. Anderson is currently 54 points behind the No. 3 spot held by Donofrio and 76 points behind the No.  2 spot held by Ebeling with just four regular season games remaining.

The fifth-year senior is averaging over 18 points per game on the season and is on pace to move into No. 3 and would need to average 19 points per game in her final four games to move into No. 2.
