GUELPH, Ont. - Captain Kyle Lamb netted two as the Western Mustangs defeated the Guelph Gryphons 4-2 on Mar. 5 to play in the 2011 Queen’s Cup.

Chris Rocca and Yashar Farmanara also added goals for Western as Matt Lyall and Timothy Priamo scored for Guelph.

Western’s Anthony Grieco turned aside 24 shots as the Mustangs outshot the Gryphons 30-26.

The Mustangs will face off against the winner of tomorrow night’s McGill versus UQTR contest next weekend Sat. Mar. 12.
