After posting their first win of the season over the Brock Badgers last weekend, the Mustangs will be looking to continue their success as they head into two games against the Lakehead Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay this weekend. It will be the last game of the semester before the team breaks for the New Year. After last week's win, the Mustangs now sit with a 1-7 record on the season.

Leading the Mustangs this year is fourth-year left side Stephanie Kreuter with an average of 3.69 points per set to come in at number nine on the OUA scoring leaderboard. Kreuter recorded a team-high 26 kills in the five-set match against Brock to help Western to the win.

The Mustangs will be looking for another victory as they head to Thunder Bay this weekend.

Western vs. Lakehead – Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30 at 7 PM

The Lakehead Thunderwolves are 2-6 on the season to sit one spot ahead of the Mustangs in the OUA West division. The Thunderwolves will be heading into this weekend's matchup after last week's 3-2 loss to RMC.

Fourth-year middle Jasmine Fox led the team in the game against RMC, recording a team-high of 15 kills while adding two solo blocks.

Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in Thunder Bay.
