Mustangs Baseball has affirmed itself as the elite collegiate team in the province of Ontario: from 2005-2007 & 2009 we won the OUA Championships while 2010-2013 we have made into the finals. One of the reasons for this success has been the program's ability to attract highly skilled student-athletes who do not wish to sacrifice quality of education while continuing their athletic pursuits. Though some are willing to make such decisions by attending American institutions, Western's high academic standards have made it the #1 choice for many of Canada's top student-athletes.
