ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – The Mustangs closed out their regular season earlier today, cruising to a 38-7 victory over the Brock Badgers. With the win, Western heads into playoff season seeded fourth.
 
Mustang point leader Cole Sopik and Brady Rowland both recorded two tries, while Issac Butler and Conor Smith landed one each. Will Sauder stepped up for the converts, picking up the extra two points on four of six attempts.

The Badgers recorded their only major and convert towards the end of the first half to head into the break with a score of 12-7.
 
The Mustangs are back in action on Saturday, October 29 when they host a quarter-final game. Western's opponent will be determined by contests throughout the weekend.
