The Special Olympics Unified Basketball Tournament is coming up on Saturday, November 24th at the Western Student Recreation Centre.
 
The tournament brings together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to play on the same team, called unified sports.
 
By playing unified sport not only are you promoting inclusion in the community, but you're also given the opportunity to make new friends and have fun playing the sports you love.
 
This will be a Round Robin tournament where the winning team has the opportunity to represent Western facing off against other schools.
 
There are two ways to get involved in this fun-filled event: Sign-up to play as an athlete OR sign-up to work as a volunteer (including coaching and refereeing positions).
 
Registration is due by November 13^th.
