Guelph, ON – Western men's soccer team travelled to Guelph Wednesday night and suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Gryphons.
 
The first half of play saw even chances but no goals for either side. Guelph took the lead in the 77^th minute, and then doubled it 7 minutes later.
 
Guelph had a player sent off in the 90^th minute, but Western couldn't capitalize on having the extra man in stoppage time. Western is now 1-1-1 on the season.  
 
The Mustangs return to action on Sunday October 3^rd when they play a rematch against the Gryphons at home on Mustangs Field. Kick-off is at 3:15pm.
