London, ON - Today's team recognition as part of the 2023 Mustangs Season of Celebration is the Mustangs Curling Team. 



This season the Curling teams had split weekends for their respective OUA Championships, starting with the Women's Championship on Feb. 3-5 and the Men's Championship on Feb. 10-12.
 
The Women's team opened up the competition against TMU where they fell 10-7, but ended the day with a 7-2 win against the hosts Ontario Tech. 9-4 and 7-6 wins over Windsor and Carleton respectively booked the 'Stangs a ticket to the quarterfinal, where they ultimately fell 7-3 to eventual winners McMaster. 
 
The Men fell 10-4 to McMaster and 8-1 to Brock on their opening day of the tournament. The purple and white then concluded their season with 10-3 and 6-3 losses to Guelph and Laurentian respectively. 
 
The team MVP's for the season were Joshua Pedersen and Erin McLean
