A second penalty, which was back to back to the previous one, gave Guelph yet another opportunity in front of the net, and they evened out the score, 2-2. With just over 11 minutes into the second period, the Mustangs were able to get a five-on-three powerplay, and just 30 seconds into the powerplay, Franco Sproviero was able to break the tie.
Just 19 seconds after his first goal, Sproviero gets his second goal of the evening, assisted by Jake Gravelle. This was Gravelle's second assist of the game.Â
