On Wednesday evening, the Mustangs travelled to Waterloo to take on the Warriors.
The Mustangs struggled from the field in the first half, they were 1 of 16 from the three point line, and made only five field goals. Waterloo capitalized on Western's off shooting night, pulling down 61 rebounds. They led 32-16 at the half.
Waterloo continued to dominate the glass on the Mustangs, while Western's offense continued to struggle. They got a bit of momentum from Jenna Button, who scored 8 points in the third quarter. Waterloo led 48-31 heading into the final frame.
In the fourth quarter, Waterloo shut down every run the Mustangs made. The Warriors closed out the game, earning their seventh win of the season.
