Mustangs recognize 2025 Senior class

London, ON - As the Mustangs closed out their 2025 regular season schedule against Windsor, they took time between games to recognize their four graduating seniors from the team.

Shared Accomplishments ALL 4 Seniors:
2022 National Silver Medalists, 2022+23 Provincial Silver medalists. Nat also won provincials in her first year as a Stang in 2021.

Hanneke Isert Bender #27, OF/Pitcher
Individual Achievements: Graduating from King's college with honors and double major in Psychology and Thanatology. Plans for the future: Master's in Social work with the goal of becoming a therapist specializing in grief counselling.  Awards: 2x Mustangs Award and 3x honor roll student.

Olivia Smith #19 – Guelph, ON, 3B
Individual Achievements:  Liv was the Most improved mustang 2023. On convocation day this spring, Olivia will be graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science with honours in rehabilitation science.  Plans for the future include either a masters in nutrition or sports psychology.  Olivia, hopes to one day run her own practice working with athletes.

Madison Mahon #25 – OF/Catcher – Reaboro ON
Individual achievements: Maddie was received the best 1st year Mustang award in 2022. Graduating with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a specialization in Human Resources Management.  Plans for the future includes, working towards her CHRP designation and eventually a CPA and then working in the field of forensic accounting.

Natalie Morrison  #12- played 2021-2024 – Newmarket, ON  is completing her Bachelor of Engineering Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural engineering.  After graduation, Natalie's plan is to continue working in the structural consulting industry and then pursue her professional engineering license in the next 4 years.

Thank you to all four Mustangs for their dedication and outstanding performances during their time in purple and white. 

The Mustangs are now headed for the OUS Championship starting October 18 in Innerkip,ON. Western finished the season with a 17-3 record and a run differential of +78, 1st in the West Division standings.
