GAME RECAPS
Friday, November 21

After a weekend of wins and losses, the Mustangs are back on the court ready to take on another team going 6-0 right now.

The game started off strong for the Mustangs with an 8-4 lead. With two consecutive blocks from Western, the Lancers called for a timeout at 12-6. Windsor asked for another timeout at 17-8 to try and lessen the gap between the scores. The Lancers seemed to be struggling with their passes and defense so far this game. Western was doing quite well with their strong serves and nice ball placement. The Mustangs finished off the first set with a nasty overpass kill at 25-9.

The second set began very well for the Mustangs as they made it very difficult for the Lancers to bring the ball back over with a hit. At 9-4, Windsor asked for a timeout. The Lancers were able to scourge up a few points from the Mustangs errors. Windsor then called another timeout at 16-8. The Mustangs were on a roll, making sure to get every point they could. Western won another set at 25- 16 to make it a 2-0 game.

The third set didn't begin too well for Western with the Lancers up 6-2, benefiting off their mistakes. The Mustangs ended up calling their first timeout. Western was able to regroup and come back at 8-7. This led to a timeout from the Lancers. After another overpass hit, the Lancers called a timeout at 17-9. The Mustangs were doing good with consistent winning plays at 21-12. And the Mustangs finished the game off with yet another overpass kill at 25-14, in 3.
