Box Score 2 NORTH BAY, ON - The Mustangs stayed locked-in all night and controlled every set to take a clean 3-0 win over the Lakers. Strong serving and steady attacking kept Western in front from start to finish.

GAME RECAP
The Lakers started strong and scored the first few points, but the Mustangs didn't panic. Western began blocking really well and made smart hits to catch up. The set stayed close, but the Mustangs slowly took control with good serving and long rallies. Even when the Lakers tried to come back at the end, Western stayed calm and finished with two big hits in a row. The Mustangs won 25–22 to take the first set.
The Mustangs and Lakers traded points early with neither team pulling away. Western finally built a small lead, but Nipissing kept responding, and when the score reached 18–18, the Mustangs called a timeout to reset. After the break, Western came out sharper, picked up two big kills, and forced the Lakers to take a timeout of their own at 22–20. The last rally was intense, but the Mustangs stayed calm and finished strong with another clean hit. Western won the set 25–23 to take a 2–0 lead.
The Mustangs got a small lead early, but the Lakers kept fighting and kept the score close. When it reached 20–20, Western took a timeout to calm down and reset. After the timeout, the Mustangs won a few big points and the Lakers used a timeout at 22–21 to try to stop the momentum. Western stayed steady, finished the last plays strong, and won the set 25–22 to complete the sweep.

Western came out strong with a huge run to go up 5–0 right away. Nipissing tried to climb back with a streak of tough serves, but Western answered with big hits at the net. The teams traded points late as the score got close, but Western pushed ahead again with a hard kill. One more strong hit finished the job. Mustangs took the set 25–22.
Western kept the pressure on and took an early 10–1 lead with powerful attacks and strong serving. Nipissing fought back and put a few runs together, but Western didn't let the lead slip. A block and a kill in the middle slowed Nipissing again. Western closed it out on another big swing. Western took the set 25–18 to make it a 2-0 game.
Western started fast with two aces and a big kill to go up 6–0. Nipissing pushed late and cut the score to just a few points, forcing Western to refocus. The Mustangs answered with a couple key kills when it got tight. Another hard swing on match point sealed the night. Western won 25–21 and took the match 3–0.
