The Women's team had a 14-8 record this season, and that put them into a first-round playoff meeting with Ottawa. The Mustangs took a 77-50 win and moved on to the next round against TMU. Sydney Cowan topped the team in points scored with 358, followed closely by Renee Armstrong with 327 points. Armstrong was named a 2nd team OUA All-Star, while Cowan was named OUA Rookie of the Year and an All-Rookie team member. Cowan would also be named U SPORTS Rookie of the Year as well.

The Men's team had one of their most impactful and successful regular seasons in recent history, including an early-season recognition as #1 on the U SPORTS Top 10 ranking. The team finished 17-5 on the regular season, which gave them a 1st round bye. In the Quarterfinal, the Mustangs ran into Toronto, which opened the playoffs with an upset win over Queen's and then got the better of the Men's team. Milan John was named an OUA 1st Team All-Star, Matteo Zagar was an OUA 3rd Team All-Star & Owen Urquhart was named to the OUA All-Rookie Team.
