The success of Western Mustangs football is unprecedented with 29 Yates Cup Championships, the most appearances within the CIS at Vanier Cups, and six Vanier Cup titles. This winning tradition was built by the outstanding individuals who have played, coached and supported the team throughout the decades.

In order for our winning tradition to continue, we must recruit the best student-athletes from across the country and provide them with an outstanding experience both academically and athletically. Through initiatives such as the Adopt A Mustang program, our goal is to provide our athletes with an opportunity to compete for and win provincial and national championships.

By supporting the Adopt A Mustang program, you can help ensure that the 2012 Mustangs will be able to compete against the best teams in the country. At the same time, you can be a part of our team and share in the pride of continuing the Western football tradition.

Recognition Opportunities:
We are honoured to recognize the important role our donors play in helping Western recruit the best and brightest student-athletes to the football program. Every contribution will enable the football team to remain competitive on a provincial, national and international level. Our dedicated football supporters will receive the following:

  • Naming in publications such as our Game Day magazine and the Mustangs website
  • Invitations to special events
  • Advance notice of important sporting events and standings
  • Correspondence with student-athletes, updates from coaches and other special communications

    Donors of annual gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized through our Leaders’ Circles. Special benefits include invitations to events throughout the year and recognition on Western’s donor board in Alumni Hall.
