At Western, we are committed to providing our student-athletes with the tools necessary to achieve excellence in the classroom, in their sport, and in their chosen profession. As a part of this commitment, we are determined to ensure these deserving student-athletes are able to focus on their athletic and academic goals. With your help, we can ensure that today's student-athletes are able to succeed not only today, but also into the future as well.

Last season we secured a berth in the OUA Field Hockey Championships but, in a spirited contest, lost in the bronze medal game. Looking ahead to the upcoming season, we’ll regroup to focus on our strengths and work to return to the OUA Championships, with an aim to go all the way.

Recognition Opportunities:
We are honoured to recognize the important role our donors play in helping Western recruit the best and brightest student-athletes to the field hockey program. Every contribution will enable the field hockey team to remain competitive on a provincial, national and international level. Our dedicated field hockey supporters will receive the following:

  • Naming on the Western Mustangs website
  • Invitations to special events
  • Advance notice of important sporting events and standings
  • Correspondence with student-athletes, updates from coaches and other special communications

    Donors of annual gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized through our Leaders’ Circles. Special benefits include invitations to events throughout the year and recognition on Western’s donor board in Alumni Hall.
