At Western, we are committed to providing our student-athletes with the tools necessary to achieve excellence in the classroom, in their sport, and in their chosen profession. As a part of this commitment, we are determined to ensure these deserving student-athletes are able to focus on their athletic and academic goals. I’m excited and proud to once again lead an outstanding group of student-athletes, who are driven to achieve in their sport and in their studies. I am also grateful for the role you play in supporting their ongoing success.
 
Last season was tremendous. The men won their first OUA title since 1994 and the women narrowly missed the silver by just one point. The men place third overall at the CIS Championships while the women placed seventh. 
 
Next year, our aim is to defend our OUA title and be the top university program in the OUA and CIS.

We are honoured to recognize the important role our donors play in helping Western recruit the best and brightest student-athletes to the wrestling program. Every contribution will enable the wrestling team to remain competitive on a provincial, national and international level. Our dedicated wrestling supporters will receive the following:

  • Naming on the Western Mustangs website
  • Invitations to special events
  • Advance notice of important sporting events and standings
  • Correspondence with student-athletes, updates from coaches and other special communications

    Donors of annual gifts of $1,000 or more are recognized through our Leaders’ Circles. Special benefits include invitations to events throughout the year and recognition on Western’s donor board in Alumni Hall.
