Julia Peden played all four years while at Western University from 2014-2018 and captained from 2016-2018. Julia helped with the Open leadership in the 2018-19 season and moved into the Head Coach position in 2019.

Outside of Western Ultimate, Julia has over 8 years of touring experience with both Women's and Mixed teams. With 2 National Titles (CUC Juniors 2014 with TORO, CHSUC 2014 with Innisdale), and three bronze medals (CUC Juniors 2013 with Overdrive, CUUC 2017 with Western, and CUC 2018 with PPF), Julia brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to the Open Ultimate Team.

Julia has also played in a handful of International Tournaments, most notably Leiout in 2017 (Santa Monica Beach), Goldstrand X in 2018 (Germany), and Pan American Ultimate Championships in 2019 (Sarasota).
