Alana Shaw

Alana Shaw enters her second year on staff with the Mustangs.  Last season Alana was on board as a resource for health and nutrition.  This season, Alana will expland on her role and spend more time with the players in helping them deal with stress management as well as nutrition.  Alana will also be involved in practices this season.

Shaw, a London oakridge graduate, is a past recipient of the Fran Wigston Award given to the top high school player in the city.  She went on to have a stellar career at McMaster where she won two OUA titles, appeared in four National Tournaments, was named an OUA All-Star, team captain, Marauder Scholar and Academic All-Canadian.

After graduating from McMaster, Alana did four years of post-graduate studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.  She currently runs a private practice at Priority Massage and Health as a naturopathic doctor with a focus on women's health.

Shaw was also the MDP regional coach for Southwest in 2008.
