Lauren is a versatile player who can play on the perimeter and on the block. She is a fierce competitor who plays a physical brand of basketball. Lauren has a great feel for the game and should have an impact on the team in her first season.

As a Freshman:
Lauren missed several games in the first half of the season due to injury.  Once back in the lineup, Chan became a significant contributor to the team's second half run.  She averaged 1.8 points and 3.3 rebounds while playing 13 minutes per contest.  Chan had her best performance with 10 rebounds and 4 points vs. McMaster on 02/11.

At St. John's:
This four-year honour role student led her team to BCSSA and CWOSSA Championships guiding them to OFSAA. Lauren also played for the Blessed Sacrament Yellow Jackets who won the SIlver medals in Division 1 at the OBAs. Lauren was a member of the U17 and U15 Provincial Teams that won gold medals at Nationals.
