Paul Cook

Paul Cook is in his 6th season as Head Coach of the women's hockey team. Cook has a wide range of previous hockey experience, much of it with in the Canadian Hockey League and with the men’s program at Western.

In the CHL, Paul has coached in Ontario with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (1986-88) and Kingston Frontenacs (1990-1991) with playoff appearances with both teams.

Paul began coaching at Western from 1987-1990 as an assistant to former men’s hockey head coach Barry Martinelli. Entering the 09/10 season Cook has a 35-61-19-4 record at the helm of the Mustangs, improving them from two wins in 2004 to 11 in 2006-07.

During the day, Paul is a principal at Aberdeen Public School in London and is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Education at The University of Western Ontario.

Paul lives in Komoka, just outside of London, with his wife Karen and daughter Bekah.
