Mike Richards is entering his 16th season as the Head Coach of the Western Mustangs Women's Tennis Team and has had a history of success in his tenure. 

Richards, who lives in Lambeth, Ontario, is a former top-ranked junior player in Ontario. He was the Canadian Junior Boys Under-18 National Doubles Champion in 1987, and he played on a tennis scholarship at the University of Louisiana Lafayette (NCAA D-I).

Graduating in 1993 with a degree in Business Administration, Richards currently manages the University Tennis Centre on campus, running Kinesiology tennis classes, lessons and leagues.  

Richards is married to wife Leslie and has three children Brooke, Cole and Ryan.
