The Department of Sport and Recreation Services is pleased to announce that Jenna Smith has been hired as the new Customer Service/Facilities Coordinator. Jenna will join the Department on August 27, working out of the WSRC and at phone extension 85197.
“I am very excited for the opportunity to join Western’s Sport and Recreation team, and I am eager to meet all the SRS staff and be part of an environment that is energetic and motivated while focusing on recreation and education,” said Jenna. “I feel my past experiences in various recreation and leadership settings will be an asset to this role. I look forward to meeting everyone and starting this new position!”

She will be a wonderful teammate and contributor to SRS.”
Jenna comes to Western from the YMCA of Western Ontario where as Manager, Child & Youth, she was responsible for developing program plans, creating marketing materials, and various human resource and budget issues.
During her time at the YMCA Jenna was one of two candidates chosen to complete a two month International Work Exchange in Chile working on programing, in orphanages, and with senior management on marketing, programing and budgeting issues.
