WINDSOR, Ont. - The Western Mustangs continued on their winning streak, capturing their fifth in a row with a straight set, 3-0 win over Windsor Nov. 22.
With the victory, Western improves to 6-1 and inches closer to first place McMaster and Waterloo (both 7-1). The Mustangs have lost just one set in their past five matches.
Western returns home in a battle for top stop, hosting Waterloo on Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. at Alumni Hall.
On Nov. 22, coach Dean Lowrie utilized his depth as 13 different players got floor time - none finishing in double-digits in points. Western registered six serving aces and had a kill percentage of over 48%.
Jacqueline Robinson (Vancouver, B.C.) finished with a team-high nine points adding five digs.
