WATERLOO, Ont. - The Western Mustangs men's rugby team defeated the Waterloo Warriors 32-7 to remain undefeated at 4-0 on Sept. 27.
According to head coach Tony Roes, Western "started out a little slow" and had a 12-7 lead at the half.
"But we were able to put things together in the second half," Roes said. "Mike Talbot had an outstanding game, he was all over the pitch playing like a man possessed."
"We are looking forward to this week's preparation to play Queen's."
Andrew Crow and Conor Trainor led Western with two tries each, while Simon Fader came on in the second-half to kick three conversions.
Western hosts Queen's at Homecoming on Saturday Oct. 3 at 3 p.m. in a battle for first place at the UWO Rugby Fields.
